A contributor assigned to a higher level will automatically be able to edit the levels underneath. It is important to note that this is different from assigning a Plan Item.
Assigning a Plan Item will make that User the owner of the Plan Item and they will be responsible for the updates and receive all e-mails related to the assigned items.
