FAQ: How do I handle a missing capital costs or funding source error in my Capital Request Import?

Validation Error - Missing Capital Costs or Funding Sources 

For a successful import, you will need to confirm you have Capital Costs entered into one of the Capital Cost Years fields and the corresponding Funding Source field for each request. 

• For example, if you have 225000 entered into the "Vehicle Cost - FY2023" cell for Ambulance, you will also need to have a value entered in the "Funding Source 1 - 2023" cell. 
  • The values themselves do not need to match, but there must be at least one capital cost and one funding source amount entered to import. 

Pro-tip: If you do not have a funding source for a request, since that field is mandatory, enter a placeholder amount like $1.00 or $0.01.
