In the Scenario Detail table, select the Wages subtab.
- Expand the first column to the employee level to change an individual’s wages.
- Apply a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) or Merit-Base adjustment by dollar amount or percentage in the Permanent Adjustment column.
- The system automatically calculates the other figure and rolls it up through the applicable parent categories. Add as many Permanent Adjustments columns as needed by selecting + Add Permanent Adjustment.
- Note: You can also apply a COLA or merit adjustments at the unit, department, or job title level. Choose an Effective Date to apply the COLA or merit adjustment. By default, the application will use the employee’s anniversary date for individuals or the Fiscal Year state date for units, departments, or job titles.
- Use the One Time Adjustment column for bonuses that do not get carried over into future years.
- The Personnel Budgeting application aggregates all adjustments made to wages in the Adjust. Total column.
- Add additional one-time adjustment columns by selecting + Add One Time Adjustment.
Note: Adjustments only carry forward to future years if applied to the Permanent Adjustment column.
