In the Scenario Detail table, select the Additional Pay or Benefits subtab. Both tabs function the same, but the location of each Additional Pay or Benefit depends on which tab they were created in the Data Model Manager.
- Expand the first column to the employee level to change an individual’s benefits options or make adjustments at the unit, department, or job title level.
- For each benefit, apply a percentage change versus the current value. The dollar value will adjust automatically to match.
Notes:- For employees who currently are ineligible for or who have opted out of a benefit, the current value of that option is $0. Any percentage changes will have no impact on the total compensation.
- If an additional pay option is a wage multiplier, enter the # of Hours. Note that adjustments only impact hourly employees. Salaried employees are not eligible for wage multiplier adjustments.
- The Personnel Budgeting application aggregates all adjustments made to benefits in the Adjust. Total column.
Note: Increases to Benefits for most calculation models will carry forward into subsequent scenario years. Wage multipliers and percent of total wages do not carry forward because they are dependent on wage values that can change in subsequent years.
