Account Mapping allows you to select specific accounts from your data and display the corresponding financial figures. It's an effective way to provide in-depth insights into specific line-item information, enhancing clarity in financial reporting.
- In the Account Mapping General Information section, select:
- Account Type (expenditures, revenue, asset, liability, or equity)
- Financial Data version (budgeted or actual)
- Budget Year and Version
- Format Option (the way monies are displayed)
- A descriptive name for this dynamic figure
- Then, select specific accounts in the Account Mapping table.
- Pro tip: Drag and drop columns to create Row Groups, which will organize and sort your line items by a specific row group. You can choose to group by Function, Department, Object, Fund, or Department.
- Verify that the Amount/Value is correct, then select Save & Insert Dynamic Figure to add it to your Narrative or Statement.
