When formatting a spreadsheet, you can have the document automatically formatted when you import an automated financial statement from the MDFM. If you are building a manual entry table and want it formatted correctly, follow these steps.
- On the desired page, select the + (plus sign) button at the bottom of a text block to add a new block.
- Select the Table option.
- In the Choose datasource pop-up menu, select the Manual option.
- Select the Edit Table button.
- From the toolbar at the top of the table, select the Import ⬆️ icon.
- From your computer's file explorer, select the spreadsheet document you wish to upload, then select the Yes button to proceed.
Add a Border to a Table Row
Once the table has been added, you can utilize the text editor menu to format the table. For example, follow these instructions to add a border to the top row of the table.
- Select the cell(s), row(s), or column(s) to which you want to add a border. Then, from the toolbar at the top of the table, select the Border Style icon.
- From the border menu, select the lower left-hand border button to add your desired border.
- Select the Bold button to increase the border weight.
Modify the Table Alignment
To ensure that the formatting is consistent between all of your tables. We recommend always using bottom vertical alignment. To change the vertical align of your tables, follow the steps below.
- Select your entire table.
- Select the Vertical Align icon (the bottom vertical alignment option.)
Otherwise, all of the formatting options open to you are located in the tool bar.
