For users with report-creation permissions, Disclosure Studio offers the ability to build new reports from scratch directly from the Report Dashboard. This guide walks you through initializing a new report or setting up a personal sandbox environment to safely learn, test, and experiment with report creation.

Create a Report Walkthrough
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Click New on the Report Dashboard
- Select the Report Type that you want to build then select Next.
- Select the Theme you wish to use and then select Next.
- Note: The theme preview will show you 5 representative pages including the cover, divider, table of contents, chart page and table page so you can see how the report will look before committing. You can always change the theme later under Settings.
Enter in your Fiscal Year End Date and select Next.

Personalize your Brand
You can update to your logo by selecting Update and selecting an image from your computer.
Select the Cover Image tab to update the cover image. Select Update and select a new image from your computer.
- Select a color theme that most represents your organization's branding or click Create a custom color theme here if you know your organization's branded colors.
- Within this section, you can enter in the hex code or RGB numbers to set the appropriate colors.
- Click Finish when you're ready.
- It will take a few minutes to create the new report. Click OK to be taken back to the Report Dashboard to then open your new report.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: I created a report, why don’t I see it in the Report Dashboard?
A: You will only have access to reports your organization has purchased/activated. If you do not have the required permissions, you may not be able to see a report that has been created. Reach out to your organization’s administrator to change your report permissions.
