For users with edit or view access to a report, the Activity log in Report Settings provides an on-demand history of system changes. This log is essential for understanding modifications, tracking updates, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Navigate to the Activity Log
- Report settings are located within a report. Select a Report to begin.
- The Settings icon is located in the upper right-hand corner next to your user profile image.
- Select the Activity log tab.
Review User Activity and Changes Made
This is currently located under the Beta Activity Log view.
- If you are not already there, please select "Switch to Beta Activity log" to see this view. The table will provide you with the details of the actions made within the report including the time stamp, event, report, category and person.
- Select any log entry to view the details and select the X to go back to the log.
- Select a column header to sort ascending or descending with that information.
- Move between pages of the log by selecting the > icon.
- Note: Each page will show up to 25 activities.
During its Beta status, the Beta Activity log does not contain filtering, file storage and task details, this is located under the Classic Activity log view.
Review Previous Report Generation Attempts
This is currently located under the Classic Activity log view.
- If you are not there already, click "Switch to Classic Activity Log" to see this information. This table will allow you to see any of the files that have been created and if they were successful or had errors.
- Select the link of the activity to access the PDF of the report in another browser tab.
- Note: If it is a Print Preview task, it typically will be a selection of pages of the report. If it is a Generate Report task, it will be a PDF of the report in its entirety.
- Select the blue information ("i") icon to see the task details especially for those with a yellow warning icon.
- You will see any potential issues with the generation within the task details. You can then click the link to be taken directly to that page in the report builder to edit it.
- Note: This will open in a new browser tab.

Q: Am I able to see an activity log for all reports rather than in a single report?
A: Yes! Assuming you have access, you can find an Activity Log for all activity in Disclosure Studio under Settings >> Activity Log. The functionality is exactly the same.
