Yes! When you create the next year’s Capital Budget, you will be able to choose your carry forward option.
- You can choose to carry forward ALL submitted requests
- Or you can choose to only include all capital requests from the previous year in the new fiscal year capital budget if they have future funding information (such as Funding Source or Capital Cost values) entered. This includes multi-year requests, partially funded requests, and unfunded requests.
Note: Another thing to consider is making sure your budget years are the same from year to year. We will default to 5 when creating a new budget, but if you need more years than this, be sure to change this number to the correct number of years to ensure the previous project budget data is carried forward.
