You can easily export any saved version of the budget or historical data with various detail levels from the Reports tab in Operational Budgeting.
- From the operational budget you wish to export, select the Reports tab at the top of the page. Select one of the prebuilt reports from the report library to use as your template.
- Use the Columns Menu bar to determine which data to include in your export.
- If you'd like, you can round your budget accounts to the nearest ten dollars or the nearest hundred dollars using the dropdown in the menu bar. Use the Include Itemizations toggle in the menu bar to include or exclude itemization details where appropriate.
- Drag and drop columns in the order you would like them to appear or use the Row Grouping to customize your filtering.
- Select the Export button.
- Determine the type of file you'd like to export from the available options (CSV, Excel, or PDF) and then select the Download button.
If you select either of the CSV or Excel options when exporting your report, you’ll be prompted to select the format for your report: Grouped or Staggered.
- The Grouped option keeps the groupings in place as they appear in the report where the grouped columns can be expanded and collapsed.
- The Staggered option splits out groupings into their own columns, maintaining the same sorting as the report. This creates an indented, hierarchical view of grouped accounts, with a subtotal row beneath each grouping.
