This article is intended for: users with access to Reports in Operational Budgeting
Use this article when: you are looking to create a report or export your Operational Budget to your ERP.
The Reports tab of an operational budget contains several types of reports. Select the type to navigate directly to that section.
- Standard Reports - Highly customizable pre-formatted reports that ClearGov has created for you.
- ERP Reports - Reports created with column options preset for your unique ERP. Reports are still customizable for your convenience.
- Custom Reports - ClearGov reports that have been customized and saved to share with others.
- Archived Reports - Reports you no longer need access to but want the ability to reference.
Standard Reports
- Detailed Report - Displays all revenues and expenditures utilizing the most recent budget versions for the current and previous fiscal years.
- Summary Report: Expenditures by Department - Displays expenditures by department utilizing the most recent budget versions for the current and previous fiscal years. (Includes a percentage change calculation for the current and previous fiscal years.)
- Summary Report: Expenditures by Expense Objects - Displays expenditures by expense object utilizing the most recent budget versions for the current and previous fiscal years. (Includes a percentage change calculation for the current and previous fiscal years.)
- Summary Report: Revenues by Department - Displays revenues by department utilizing the most recent budget versions for the current and previous fiscal years. (Includes a percentage change calculation for the current and previous fiscal years.)
- Summary Report: Revenues by Source - Displays revenues by source utilizing the most recent budget versions for the current and previous fiscal years. (Includes a percentage change calculation for the current and previous fiscal years.)
Regardless of what report you select, you will be able to customize your report to reveal the information you prefer.
ERP reports
ERP reports are continually being added to the Report Builder. While ERP reports have preset columns based on ERP type, you can still customize the report.
Pro Tip: Search by your preferred ERP name in the Name search box to quickly pull up your ERP report.
Custom Reports
Custom Reports are created by using one of the Standard Reports or ERP Reports as a starting point, customizing the report, and then saving it. Learn more about creating Custom Reports in this article: Operational Budgeting - Customize a Report
Archived Reports
Archive your custom reports by navigating to the Custom Reports tab, and then selecting the ellipses icon under the right-hand Actions column and selecting Archive. Archived reports will be removed from your Custom Reports tab and accessible in the Archived Reports tab.
