Use this article after: gaining access to an Operational Budget or whenever you need to find something specific within the Worksheet.
There's a lot of data in the Worksheet, so let's simplify it. By filtering the Worksheet, you can narrow down to the specific data you need to see to make edits, requests or decisions.
Pro Tip: The Reset View button, located in the right corner of the Worksheet table, displays a small blue bubble with the number of filters currently in place and will clear out any sorting, grouping, and filters that are applied to the request table.
Add and Manage Columns
Select the image above to zoom.
- Select the Columns menu button to open it. From here, you can customize what columns display on your worksheet. Uncheck or check the boxes next to the columns' names.
- Expand any arrows to the left of the column's name to see additional columns you can manage.
- Drag columns down to the Row Group section to create a Row Group.
- Drag and Drop Columns in the Worksheet to reorder them.
- Pin a Column by dragging and dropping it into the left or right sections denoted with the grey shadow line.
- Select the Advanced Options icon (three vertical dots) to gain access to additional Column features and actions.
Note: The Reset Columns option will remove all filters and column customization.
Filter and Search

- Customize the Row Grouping filter to create a hierarchy of groupings instead of the default list of Accounts.
- The example above has the worksheet first grouped by Account Type (Revenue/Expense) and then a secondary grouping for Fund.
- Drag and drop your preferred columns into the row group filter to create an initial view.
- Drill in by opening the arrow next to the Description under the Description column.
- This will help you gain access to the specific Accounts after Row Grouping.
- Utilize the Column Search boxes to search for funds, accounts, etc.
- The example above shows a specific part of an Account being used to search for specific Account Ids.
- Select the Column Header to sort ascending or descending.
- This will be denoted by an arrow to the right of the Column Header name. If there is no arrow, the column is not being sorted.
- The Advanced Filter (funnel) icon gives you options to search by advanced variables such as contains, equals, starts with, ends with, and more.
