We designed the ClearGov Projects application to enable you to quickly create and publish project pages that shine a spotlight on capital development and help spread the word by allowing visitors to subscribe to email updates. The capital request-driven pages take only minutes to populate with data submitted to your capital plan automatically. Use these Projects pages to share timelines, documents, budgets, and more in a centralized location.
Note: Capital Budgeting Lite clients are limited to five publicly shared Projects pages.
Project pages can be generated from the Request Manager table, or the Request Detail Page, within Capital Budgeting.
From the Request Manager Table
- Select the checkbox to the left of the Request Title.
- Select the Bulk Actions menu.
- Select Send to Projects
Or, from the Request Detail page for the appropriate project, select the Create Project From Request shovel icon at the top of the page. You have now sent your capital request to the Projects page that lives within the Transparency center module.
Here are a few things to know about projects:
- Your project will not be visible to the public until you enable the page.
- You can confirm that you have successfully generated a project page at the top of the Request Detail page.
- The Capital Budgeting request and its corresponding project page now have a live link. The data will automatically change on the linked project page as information is edited in the Capital Budgeting request.
Note: The following content from the original capital request are automatically reflected on the linked project page: project description, images, supporting documentation, project budget, funding sources, and expenditures over time. To make changes to those items, edit the capital request within the Capital Budgeting module.
