Capital Budgeting
Archive Requests
A new archive feature has been added to the request workflow within the Request Manager tab of any capital budget. This allows for more flexibility when handling requests that may not be needed currently, but shouldn't be completely deleted from the system. To archive a request, simply access the actions menu for that specific request and select the archive option.
You can also archive multiple requests through the bulk actions menu.
After at least one request has been archived, a new toggle appears in the header to hide or display archived requests. By default archived requests will be hidden.
Within this archived view requests can be either restored or deleted. These options can be found within the actions menu for each request or within the bulk actions menu.
Any request that has been archived will no longer be considered when running Reports/Scenarios or viewing the Dashboard tab.

Applications
Statement Builder
Parent Rows
Within statements, users often prefer to categorize rows under a parent that does not include a subtotal. For example, in the Budgetary Comparison statements, several categories of tax revenue are often listed under a Parent Row called Taxes. This makes the statement easier to read and removes the need to duplicate the word taxes on multiple lines.
To create a parent row, click the three-dot icon beside the row you want to create a parent above. Select Add Row Above, and then select Parent Row.
Type in a row description and click the green check mark to save. Next, click the three-dot menu on the row you want to nest under the parent and select Change Parent.
Using the dropdown menu, select the parent you want to move this line beneath. Once selected, click the Change Parent button to update.
Follow the previous steps for all rows that need to be nested beneath the parent. Within the Parent group, lines can be renamed, as well as repositioned using the Move Up and Move Down options within the three-dot action menu.
Enterprise and Internal Service Fund Statements
Within the Statement Builder application, templates are now available for Enterprise and Internal Service Fund combined statements. The three statement templates available within each category are the Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Net Position, and State of Revenues, Expenses, and Changes in Fund Net Position.
These statements have a similar structure to the Proprietary Fund statements, but their column controls are customized. For example, within the Internal Service Fund templates, when categorizing funds in the Statement Settings > Fund Categorization the label specifies Internal Service Fund. The Dynamic Figures from these combined Enterprise and ISF statements can be reused in the downstream Proprietary statements.
Dynamic Formulas
There is often the need to perform arithmetic calculations using multiple dynamic figures. For example, users may want to calculate the difference between this year’s Tax Revenue and last year’s, or they may want to add multiple expense objects together. Dynamic Formulas gives users the ability to do this. To create a Dynamic Formula, select the Dollar icon from within the narrative toolbar. In the left list, select Dynamic Formula. Within the Formula Builder, select the first dynamic figure. Next, select the formula operator. The options are Add, Minus, and Percent Difference. Next, select the second Dynamic Figure. Provide the Dynamic Formula with a name and format. When ready, click the Save and Insert Dynamic Formula button.
When using Add and Minus, users can also string together more than two dynamic figures into more complex formulas, using the + icon.
