Capital Budgeting
Single Applied Account ID
A new overarching account ID can be applied to an individual financial panel within a given form type. This applies to all financial panels across all forms.
Editors have the option to configure this on behalf of departments, simplifying the request process and ensuring accurate cost allocation. However, assigning this single account ID will overwrite any existing account information associated with that form for all requests of that type. Although no account data is lost, reports and data sent to the operating budget should be reviewed for accuracy due to the override functionality.
Editors can now prevent changes to an account ID on a form by locking it. Once locked, the account ID cannot be edited and no further account information can be added when departments are filling out their capital requests for that financial panel.
A new field will display when filling out requests. This field will be available depending on the actions taken by the editor for that request type and financial panel. The contributor can use this new field just like the other account ID selections if it is left unlocked by an editor. However, using the single account will lock and disable the other account ID fields.
If an editor locks the account on the form, department heads will only need to input the budget information for the fiscal years. The account ID will be auto-selected and cannot be changed or removed.
For all reports that have an account ID field available, the single account ID selection, if established, will overwrite any existing account IDs that are associated with that request type and financial form.
As a piece of the scenario creation and eventual import into the Operational Budgeting product, the single applied account ID will also come through as part of the data set, again overriding any existing account information.
Applications
Statement Builder
Change Styles
The Statement Builder application now supports multiple style choices to accommodate users' different stylistic preferences for formatting financial statements. To change the style of a row, select the three-dot icon next to it and then select "Change Styles" from the action menu.
There are several stylistic choices: show or hide currency sign, bold or normal font, and no underline, single underline, or double underline. These stylistic choices will apply to the entire row.
Financials
Version Ordering
The Financials application now aligns financial versions with underlying data configurations. ClearGov’s Data Team controls the order of financial versions, displayed in reverse chronological order from left to right, with the most recent year and versions on the left. To change the order of your financial versions, submit a data update ticket to ClearGov. These updates minimize scrolling and improve the user experience.
