Capital Project Tracking
Audit Trail for Capital Project Tracker
Capital Project Tracking now includes an Audit Trail that provides a chronological record of key activity within a tracker. Previously, there was no centralized way to review changes to collaborators, tracker settings, or project types.
The Audit Trail shows what changed, who made the change, and when it occurred, making it easier to review past activity and support internal audit and compliance needs. Records can also be filtered by date or action type and exported for additional review or record-keeping.
To review activity within a Capital Project Tracker:
- Open Capital Project Tracking and select a capital project from the list.
- Navigate to the “Audit Trail” tab.
- Review recorded activity, including the user, action, details, and timestamp.
- Filter activity by date range or action type, such as “Create,” “Update,” or “Delete,” as needed.
- Export the Audit Trail for offline review or record-keeping.
Disclosure Studio
Enabling Dynamic Spreadsheet Custom Variables to be referenced across the Report
You can now use calculated values from JS Spreadsheet tables throughout your Disclosure Studio report. Insert a spreadsheet cell value into text and content blocks, including explanatory narratives and chart titles, to connect report language and visualizations to the calculations your team already maintains. When you generate Print Preview, Disclosure Studio resolves the selected variable using its current spreadsheet value, helping your narrative and visuals stay aligned with the underlying calculation. This makes complex, organization-specific formulas easier to reuse as your report is updated and rolled forward. It is particularly useful for explaining financial trends and significant year-over-year changes in MD&A and related reporting sections.
Steps to Enable/Use the Feature:
- Create or identify the required value in a JS Spreadsheet table, including any custom formula or calculation your report requires.
- Add or edit a text/content block where you want the value to appear. This can include narrative content or a chart title.
- From the variable selector, choose the relevant JS Spreadsheet table and select the specific cell whose value you want to reference.
- Generate Print Preview to resolve and verify the current value in the report output.
