This guide provides instructions for report editors on how to manage the appearance and placement of manual and Excel tables within a report section.
Manage a Manual or Excel Table within a Report Section Walkthrough
Select Next to move through the guide. You can also zoom in and out of the image by selecting the Magnifying Glass in the bottom right-hand corner. You can view the full guide by selecting the External Link icon.
Manage the Formatting of a Manual or Excel Table on a Page
- To manage a manual or Excel table on a page, click within the block.
- The default will be center aligned, but you can change the alignment to have the table be left or right aligned on the page.
- If needed, choose to wrap text around the table or break text around the table.
- Change the table size on the page as needed from Large to Medium, Small or Very Small.
- Change the text size of the table from Standard to Larger, Smaller or Very Small.
- Change the Row Height of the table from Standard to Smaller or Very Small.
- Add and manage headers or footers to a table with the Add Header icon.
- Click Choose Template to select a statement to mimic the formatting within the manually created table.
- Toggle on any of the options in the bottom right corner to help with its placement and display within the report.
- Keep with Next will make sure the table and the next block are together.
- Suppress Rows and Columns
- Don't break between pages ensures the table stays intact in a single place.
- Show in Table of Contents will allow you to add a reference to this specific table in the Table of Contents.
