“Additional Flat Dollar Amount” Option for Wage Multiplier Calculation Model

A new, optional field has been added to the Wage Multiplier calculation model, which is commonly used to calculate an overtime Additional pay or Benefit. This new field, the “Add'l Flat $ Amount”, adds a flat dollar amount to the product that’s a result of multiplying the wage multiplier value by the hours specified in a Scenario. 

Take the following example:

• Wage Multiplier: 1.5x
• Hours: 200
• Add'l Flat $ Amount: $1,000.00

In the example above, the 1.5x wage multiplier at 200 hours is first calculated for the given employee. Once that calculation is complete, the additional $1,000.00 is added.

Allow Negative Values for All Dollar and Percent Fields in Scenarios

In Scenarios, all dollar ($) and percentage (%) fields can now contain negative values. This includes Wages, Additional Pays, Benefits, and more.

Bulk Actions Update

Within the Request Manager tab for all users, the bulk actions normally found across the top of the table have been consolidated. Now, a new “Bulk Actions” menu is available that contains all the actions that were previously available along the table header. 

All the functionality associated with each individual button still operates the same within the new Bulk Actions menu. One or more requests have to be selected using the checkbox and then an action is able to be performed.

Charts Application

Homepage Updates

The Charts homepage comes with a couple updates to improve users’ ability to find and maintain their Charts. 

The first update is now users’ sorting and filtering will save for them as they navigate away and return to the Charts table. This also includes the state of folders. If the user has expanded these folders, that will be maintained when the user returns to the screen.

The second update is to remove the “drag and drop” action to add and remove Charts from folders. This action created confusion as that function is not clear. Users will now see the actions to add, move and remove charts from folders in the Actions menu. Simply select the action in the menu and choose which folder you’d like to add the given chart to.
