Progress Bar - Editors

The progress bar that was recently released now has one more enhancement specific to the editor’s view. In the same way that contributors had a detailed view of their specific tasks, editors now see detailed information about each of the steps that are taken to get to a finalized budget. Who has been invited into the given request round, what’s their status, how many accounts have they changed, and what the total amount of those changes are some examples of the new information now available within the editor’s progress bar.

Permission Updates

Within the Collaborators → Contributors permission page, the look and feel has gotten an update to better work with the number of permissions that are now available. They have been broken down into groups and each of those groups can be collapsed to better manage what’s within view.

Also on this page is a new permission for Funding Packages. With this permission enabled, this will provide access to the new Funding Packages tab and the ability to create Funding Packages. When turned off, that specific Contributor will no longer be able to see nor interact with any Funding Packages. This provides editors with greater control over which Contributors can work with the new Funding Packages feature. 

Additional Changes

A number of other small changes are also now available that include the following:

• A new “Data Source” column has been added that better describes where the account or itemization came from. An example includes “Onboarded” which means ClearGov put that in place as part of implementation. Others could be imported from Personnel or Capital Budgeting. This column can also be grouped or filtered for better clarity into where information came from.
• A new ERP report is available within the Report Builder tab specific to New World and their XML export format.
• The reset button on the Worksheet tab has been updated to better reflect the actions this button will perform. This now matches what’s available in Capital Budgeting as well for a consistent experience.
