Teams
A new method to create true collaboration across a department or cross-functional set of people is now available in the form of Teams. This can be found within the Collaborators tab and then the Contributors secondary tab. From there, the first Team can be created.
First, select the “Add a Team” button. Then enter in the required information and select the people to be included in the team. The team name, description, and request types are all required in order to successfully create a new Team. The request types selection will limit the types of requests that can be created to only what is selected for that Team. This is especially helpful to limit the request types if not all apply.
A single person can be on more than one Team to provide flexibility for how best to organize and manage the variety of people that might work within an organization. As well, if someone is expected to be available to add to a Team but isn’t showing up, adding an additional contributor to the budget can be done while still in the creation process.
Following the different screens that are available will then successfully add that person into the Capital budget and to the Team. However, adding them to a Team does not automatically invite them into the budget. The invitation will still need to be kicked off from the Contributors tab.
Once the Team has been created, the collaboration efforts will be most present on the Request Manager tab. Here, all the team members will be able to see and interact with all requests associated with all fellow Team members. This is built based on the request owner for a given request and that’s what builds the entire Team’s request list to work with.
Notice as Nancy, I can interact and edit a request that’s owned by Luanne because we’re on the same Team.
After the budget has been completed for the year, all Teams related information and contributors that had been assigned can be carried forward when creating the next budget. Toggling this option on for the Teams specific section will bring the Team(s) and all associated contributors into the budget for next year with no additional setup required.
Bulk Request Owner Change
Since any Team (see above for information on Teams) will be based on the request owner associated with each individual request, being able to change the request owner in bulk became a necessary requirement to have the Teams concept work as intended.
Within the bulk actions menu on the Request Manager tab, a new option is available to change the request owner for all selected requests. Note: This functionality is only available to editors.
First, select one or more requests within the Request Manager tab. Then within the bulk actions menu select the change request owner option.
This will then prompt a confirmation modal to which other person within the Capital Budget the requests should be assigned. After clicking yes, the requests are reassigned in bulk.

Link Capital Budgeting Requests with Project Pages
For Project Pages created from Capital Requests in our Capital Budgeting product, the information will now be synced across the two platforms. So, as information is edited in the Capital Budgeting Request, it will automatically change the data on the linked project page.
To create this linkage, simply create the project from Capital Budgeting by choosing the “Create Project From Request” Action in the Request Manager.
When this happens, a banner will appear at the top of the Project page indicating changes must be made on the Capital Request with a link to the editing page in Capital Budgeting.
To unlink the Project from the Request, simply click the “Unlink Project from Request” link in the banner.
For Project pages that are linked to Capital Requests, the data is not editable on the Project page as the Capital Budgeting Request is the source of truth. However, all the panels are still hideable and reorderable as they were before, and new panels can be created and edited as before.

Change Font Size for Text Display in Charts
The font size for labels and legend text on Charts can now be changed in the “Font Size” Setting for all chart types except Org Charts.
The default selection is “Small” which also matches the size of the text previously on all Charts before this enhancement.
For reference, in comparison to the image above, this is what it looks like if large is selected.
